As a Valco product implementation resource, the Clinical Applications Analyst will provide implementation assistance to the Delivery Project Managers and perform Post-sale customer support of Valco products and their applications.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years work experience in a Hospital/Health Care environment
- MEDITECH software experience required (CS or MAGIC)
- Software implementation experience required
- Strong Analytical skills, complete with ability to create functional specification documents, testing scripts and scenarios,
- and system assessment templates
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Strong customer interface and training skills.

The Delivery Project Manager manages the timely and cost effective implementation of web-based software, hardware and services in support of Valco software products. Responsibility includes developing and maintaining project plans and other documentation, managing the delivery from Sales turnover to Support turnover.
Requirements:
- 5+ years as a proven Technical Project Manager in an Information Systems environment
- Must possess a core understanding of software technologies and systems integration solutions
- Knowledge of MEDITECH or HCIS is required
- Knowledge of optical technology and related technologies strongly desired
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project along with all Microsoft Office Products
- Experience with Risk Analysis, Project Methodologies and project tracking tools
- Commitment, motivation, strong work ethic, and integrity are key attributes
- Successful record of managing (external) customer relationships and developing reference sites
- Strong team based, results oriented, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with customers, principals, and other organizations
- Exceptional organizational and leadership skills

Valco has several openings for JAVA developers in our Toronto Office.
Primary responsibility is to manage the technical support team.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the relationship between the support department and internal departments.
- Providing trending analysis of tickets.
- Serving as the team’s critical customer care point of contact.
- Handling of all escalation issues through conclusion.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years experience in customer support with a minimum of 7+ years in a Supervisory/Management position.
- Demonstrated experience supporting external customers.
- Working knowledge of managing a technical support center.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and core products such as IIS and SQL Server.
- Proven hardware and networking knowledge.
- Experience in a hospital environment required.
- Meditech software experience preferred, other HIS applications a plus.
